Lewis Raynor

Lewis Raynor, PhD, MPH, MS, is a genetic epidemiologist specializing in drug development and currently serves as the Director of Epidemiology at Biogen, where they lead a team focused on developing therapies for rare neurodevelopmental and genetic disorders. Previously, Raynor held leadership roles at companies such as Takeda, Boehringer Ingelheim, and Sanofi Genzyme, where they designed and executed various epidemiological studies and managed research projects in rare diseases and oncology. Raynor’s academic background includes multiple degrees from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, including a PhD in Epidemiology with a Genetics Minor. Their experience spans various research collaborations and regulatory activities aimed at addressing health disparities and improving patient outcomes.
