Marcela Jacobson

Marcela (Alvarez) Jacobson currently serves as the Director and Senior IT Partner for US Business Intelligence & Operations at Biogen, a role focused on aligning IT with business stakeholders in Field Enablement & Learning and Marketing Operations. With a history of strategic IT leadership, Marcela has held positions including Associate Director for Commercial IT Business Partner and IT Partner for US Customer Excellence & Operations, where responsibilities included delivering impactful technology solutions and improving operational effectiveness. Prior to Biogen, Marcela worked as an IT Principal Business Analyst at Slalom Consulting and as a Senior Business Consultant at EMC, along with various roles at Accenture. Marcela began her career as a Marketing Communications Intern at New Europe Newspaper, holding a BS in Economics and Information Design and Corporate Communication from Bentley University.
