Marcin Plichta

Marcin Plichta serves as the Director of Procurement Operations at Biogen since June 2023, leading a team focused on purchasing, vendor risk management, contract support, process governance, and technology deployment. Previously, Marcin held various roles at Bayer Sp. z o.o. from July 2002 to May 2023, culminating in the position of Global Head of Source-to-Pay Projects, managing a team of over 40 project management professionals specializing in M&A, integration, and operational excellence. Additional roles included Head of Procurement for Central and Eastern Europe, Source-to-Pay Expert, and management positions in marketing services and administration. Marcin's academic credentials include postgraduate studies in Project Management from the ICAN Institute, a Master's degree in Organizational Psychology from the University of Warsaw, and a Master's degree in HR Management from SGH Warsaw School of Economics.
