Nicole Steinhauer, MBA, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in strategy operations and manufacturing within the biopharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Director of Strategy Operations at Biogen, a position held since July 2012, Nicole oversees a team responsible for optimizing manufacturing plans to align product demands with facility capabilities. Previous roles at Biogen include Associate Director of Strategic Network Planning and Sr. Manager of Strategic Network Planning, where Nicole managed detailed production planning and implemented innovative improvement projects. Prior to Biogen, Nicole worked at Novartis as a QA Compliance Auditor and Production Engineer, and began her career as an Undergrad Lab Technician at BTEC and a TD Pilot Plant Co-op at Biogen. Nicole holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a Certificate in Supply Chain Operations Management and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Biomanufacturing, both from North Carolina State University.
