Sydney Schaefer

Sydney Schaefer, CCP, has extensive experience in compensation management, currently serving as the Sr Director of Global Compensation at Biogen since October 2016, where previous roles included Director, Associate Director, Senior Manager, and Compensation Manager. Prior to Biogen, Sydney worked at Willis Towers Watson from January 2012 to September 2016 as a Compensation Consultant and Senior Compensation Analyst. Additional experience includes positions at Cambridge Associates as a Senior Investment Performance Associate and Investment Performance Associate, as well as internships at UniWorld Group and Morgan Stanley. Sydney holds a BA in Economics and Spanish from Vanderbilt University, attended from 2006 to 2010, and graduated from John Burroughs School in 2006.
