Luca Bartolucci

Luca Bartolucci is an experienced organic chemist currently working at BIOGENERA SpA since September 2022, focusing on drug discovery with expertise in the design and synthesis of peptide nucleic acids (PNA) for gene therapy applications. Luca possesses advanced knowledge in solid phase peptide synthesis (SPPS) and optimization processes to enhance yield and minimize byproducts, as well as proficiency in utilizing various analytical techniques, including HPLC and spectrophotometry. Previous experience includes a role as an R&D chemist in the analytical lab at Sherwin-Williams and providing chemistry tutoring through Superprof. Luca holds a Master's degree in Synthetic Methodologies and Bio-Organic Chemistry and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Material Chemistry from the University of Bologna, complemented by a high school diploma in Chemistry.
