Allyson Mayer

Allyson Mayer, PhD has extensive work experience in various roles within the scientific and investment fields. Allyson currently holds the position of Principal at BioGenerator Ventures since September 2023. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Investment Analyst from September 2022 to September 2023 and as an Investment Analyst from July 2021 to August 2022 at the same company. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Computational Biologist at PERCAYAI. Before that, from January 2019 to September 2019, they were a Project Management and Clinical Pharmacology Specialist at Nuventra Pharma Sciences. Allyson completed their PhD in the Division of Biology and Biomedical Sciences at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis from August 2013 to August 2018. Additionally, they gained research experience as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Iowa and as a Summer Research Assistant at DuPont Pioneer in 2010.

Allyson Mayer, PhD, completed their education with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Developmental, Regenerative and Stem Cell Biology from Washington University in St. Louis, which they pursued from 2013 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained Honors in Biochemistry with a minor in Spanish from the University of Iowa, where they studied from 2009 to 2013.
