Yew Joon Tam

Yew Joon Tam has extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. Yew Joon currently serves as the Chief Scientific Officer at Biogenes Technologies, a position they have held since 2021. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior Lecturer at INTI International University & Colleges from 2018 to 2021. From 2016 to 2018, they served as a Consulting Expert at Biogenes Technologies. Before that, they worked as a Sessional Staff at Monash University Malaysia from 2011 to 2018. In 2017, they briefly held a position as a Part-time Lecturer at SEGi University & Colleges. Yew Joon Tam started their career as a Research Assistant at Universiti Putra Malaysia in 2004, where they worked until 2015.

Yew Joon Tam pursued their education in a chronological manner. Yew Joon first attended Universiti Putra Malaysia from 1997 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)(H) degree in Biochemistry. After that, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Virology from the same institution from 2000 to 2003. Yew Joon Tam furthered their education by enrolling in a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) program in Molecular Biotechnology at Universiti Putra Malaysia from 2006 to 2015. In addition to their formal education, Yew Joon Tam has obtained several certifications on LinkedIn, including Excel: Power Pivot for Beginners, How to Use LinkedIn Learning, Learning Data Science: Understanding the Basics, Learning to Write a Syllabus, and Writing a Research Paper, all achieved in August 2019.
