Nigel Beaton

Nigel Beaton has a diverse work experience starting as a Laboratory Assistant at Robarts Research Institute in 2002. Nigel then worked as an English instructor, an Administrative Assistant, and a Research Collaborator before joining ETH Zurich as a Post-Doctoral Researcher in 2013. Nigel continued their academic journey as a Marie Curie Post-Doctoral Fellow at University College London in 2015. Nigel later transitioned into roles at Biognosys, starting as a Senior Scientist and progressing to Scientific Director of Discovery Proteomics before becoming the Vice President of Scientific Operations, North America in 2023.

Nigel Beaton completed a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Physiology at Western University from 1998 to 2002. Nigel then pursued a Master's degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Strathclyde from 2007 to 2008. Finally, they obtained their Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from ETH Zürich from 2009 to 2013.
