Brook Bankes-Polk has worked for four companies in the course of their career. Brook began as an Accounting Clerk II at Nabisco, Inc. in 1999 and stayed there until 2001. In 2002, they joined the Public Health Management Corporation and served as the Intermediate Punishment Coordinator before becoming the Forensic Coordinator. Brook ultimately became the Director of Forensic Administrative Services until 2014. Brook then worked for Allegheny County as the Financial Manager for the Department of Public Works from 2016 to 2023. Lastly, they are currently an Office Manager/Accounting employee at BioHybrid Solutions since May of 2023.
Brook Bankes-Polk earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in French Language and Literature from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania from 1995 to 1999. Brook later pursued a Master's degree in Public Health from Drexel University between 2007 and 2009.
