Johanna Roostalu

Johanna Roostalu is the Director of Women's Health at BioInnovation Institute. Johanna has held various titles within the organization, including Principal, Senior Scientific Developer, and Scientific Developer, all focusing on BII's Women's Health Initiative. Prior to their current role, Johanna worked at Wellcome Trust as a Science Portfolio Manager and Science Portfolio Adviser. Johanna also has experience from The Francis Crick Institute where Johanna worked as a Visiting Scientist, Project Research Scientist, and Sir Henry Wellcome Postdoctoral Fellow. Johanna's academic background includes a PhD in Molecular Biology from Heidelberg University, as well as MSc and BSc degrees in Molecular Biology and Gene Technology from the University of Tartu.
