Shayan Guhaniyogi

Shayan Guhaniyogi is a seasoned embedded algorithms engineer with extensive experience in the biomedical field. Currently serving as a Sr. Embedded Algorithms Engineer at BioIntelliSense, Inc. since June 2025, Shayan previously held the role of Lead Algorithms and Signal Processing Engineer at Bodyport from November 2021 to November 2024, where significant advancements were made in heart failure monitoring through the development of predictive algorithms and biomarkers. Earlier, at MSEI / Biotronik from November 2014 to November 2021, Shayan led large-scale research initiatives for implantable cardiac monitors, contributing to novel diagnostics and algorithm deployment. Shayan's career began as a Lab Research Analyst and Graduate Researcher at the Duke-UNC Brain Imaging and Analysis Center, focusing on innovative image reconstruction algorithms for Diffusion MRI. Shayan holds a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
