Agnes Görtz

Agnes Görtz has extensive experience in quality assurance and clinical operations within the biopharmaceutical industry. Agnes started their career as a Medical Writer at Astra Draco AB in 1992 before moving on to become a Clinical Research Manager at AstraZeneca from 1993 to 2000, where they delivered clinical data for submission and publication.

In 2000, they joined ProstaLund AB as a Clinical Research Manager, where they managed clinical trials and implemented GCP routines. Agnes then worked at WP Development AB (previously Amarin Development AB) as a Project Manager from 2001 to 2006, delivering formulation projects for customers.

From 2006 to 2007, Agnes worked as a Clinical Research Consultant at TFS Trial Form Support, where they successfully delivered consultant-based projects for various pharmaceutical companies.

In 2008, they became a Clinical Operations Manager at Astellas Pharma A/S, overseeing a team in multiple countries and prioritizing workload and team dynamics.

Agnes then joined McNeil AB in 2016 as a Senior GCP Specialist, responsible for quality and compliance in clinical trial activities. Agnes also served as an internal and external GCP auditor and senior advisor and trainer.

From 2018 to 2020, they worked at Hansa Biopharma AB (publ), first as a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist and later as the Vice President of Quality Assurance. In these roles, they established a streamlined quality management system and implemented software to support the QMS.

From 2020 to 2021, Agnes was the QA Department Manager at PolyPeptide Group, where they managed the quality assurance department.

Currently, they are employed as a Senior QA Specialist at BioInvent International AB, focusing on GCP. Agnes drives the implementation of new processes to improve compliance and efficiency and serves as an auditor.

Agnes Görtz attended The University of British Columbia from 1983 to 1988, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences (BSc(Pharm)). This signifies their education background in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences during that period.
