Andy Smith

Andy Smith has a strong background in business development and sales, currently serving as the Director of Business Development at BioIVT since December 2019, focusing on disease state solutions. Prior to this role, Andy held positions such as Senior Customer Solutions Manager at QIAGEN and Senior Account Manager at VWR, part of Avantor, where the emphasis was on enhancing lab and production efficiencies. With experience dating back to roles at Labtech International Limited and Life Technologies, Andy's career has been marked by progressive responsibilities in technical sales and account management. Andy holds a BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry from the University of Glasgow, obtained in 2007.
