Shayma Ali

Shayma Ali, MSc, SH(ASCPi), is an experienced medical specialist currently serving as the laboratory director at Biolab, one of the largest accredited diagnostic medical laboratory chains in Jordan. They have a solid background in the healthcare and diagnostic medical laboratory industry, having previously worked as a senior medical technologist and played a key role in the Molecular Genetics team responsible for Covid-19 testing during the pandemic. Shayma is trained in genomic epidemiology through WARD-ID/CREID in the USA and is an ASCP certified international specialist in Hematology. Holding a master's degree in Clinical/Medical Laboratory Science from the Hashemite University, they possess skills in medical devices, analytical techniques, and personnel management.
