Lee Jared

Lee Jared has over 25 years of experience in various leadership roles in manufacturing, operations, and engineering. Lee is currently serving as the Senior Director of Manufacturing, Facilities, and Operations Engineering at BioLegend, where they lead the manufacturing, facilities, and operations engineering teams. Prior to this, Lee was the Director of Manufacturing at BioLegend, responsible for tissue culture, purification, conjugation, and bottling processes. Before joining BioLegend, Lee worked as the Vice President of US Operations at Kalle, overseeing multiple manufacturing sites and implementing strategies for operational excellence. Lee has also held roles as the VP of Operations/Manufacturing, Product Development and R&D Engineering at Jif-Pak Manufacturing LLC and as the R&D Manager/Process Engineering at Wilshire Technologies, LLC. Lee has a strong background in lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, research and development, and process optimization.

Lee Jared completed a Master of Business Administration in Executive Management from the Jack Welch Management Institute from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, from 1991 to 1994, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Chemical Engineering from London South Bank University. In addition to their formal education, Lee Jared has also obtained several certifications, including Business Analytics Foundations, Critical Thinking, Problem Solving Techniques, Operational Excellence Foundations, Operational Excellence Work-Out and Kaizen Facilitator, Six Sigma Foundations, Solving Business Problems, Change Management Foundations, Creating a Culture of Strategy Execution, Leading Change, and Managing Organizational Change for Managers from LinkedIn. The certifications were obtained between September 2018 to October 2019.
