Nathan Lucas

Nathan Lucas is a seasoned technical application scientist with extensive experience in the biotechnology sector, currently serving as the Technical Application Scientist Lead at BioLegend since May 2018. Lucas has excelled in building relationships with key opinion leaders, providing sales support, and conducting technical seminars. Prior roles include a Scientist at Stratos Genomics, where expertise was used to advance polymerase development for next-generation sequencing, and a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Washington, with a focus on protein probes and high-throughput assay development. Lucas also has a strong academic background, holding a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Loras College, complemented by extensive teaching and research experience.
