Pardeep Gupta

Dr. Gupta has spent nearly 26 years at University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in controlled drug delivery systems, pharmaceutical solutions, drug stability, drug diffusion and pharmaceutical rate processes. Before coming to Sciences, he received his doctorate degree in pharmaceutics from the University of Wisconsin Madison. For the past 20 years, he has focused his academic research on delivery of proteins and poorly soluble drugs. Current projects in his laboratory are in the area of nanoparticle-based protein delivery systems, use of amphiphilic peptides as stabilizers of nano suspensions, and design of peptide drugs. He has served on editorial board of Remington. The Science and Practice of Pharmacy and authored several chapters in Remington and other reference books. Dr. Gupta is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Association for the Advancement of Science, American Chemical Society and the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists.
