Elizabeth Gomes began their work experience in 2017 as a Biomedical Engineer Intern at Medtronic Diabetes. In 2016, they worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Kamei Research Laboratory at UCLA. Starting in 2020, they joined Blumio as a Biomedical Engineer, where they conducted physiological signal processing and established a signal QA process. Elizabeth also conducted analysis comparing signal morphology differences between sensor modalities, coordinated collaborations with external partners, and managed projects and products in the execution of a Sensor Development Kit. Elizabeth'swork at Blumio resulted in a publication acceptance and the successful launch of the Sensor Development Kit within six months. Currently, Elizabeth is working at Biolinq as an Algorithm Engineer, with a recent promotion to Senior Algorithm Engineer in April 2023.
Elizabeth Gomes completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Bioengineering at UCLA from 2014 to 2018. Elizabeth then pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering- Biomechanics at the University of California, Berkeley from 2018 to 2019.
