Gianfranco (John) Battista

Gianfranco (John) Battista has a diverse and extensive work experience in the bioscience industry. Gianfranco (John) began their career at Beckman Coulter in 1997 as a Cellular Analysis Sales Specialist, and worked there until 2002. Gianfranco (John) then joined Vitra Bioscience as an Account Executive from 2003 to 2005. After that, they worked at HistoRx, Inc. as the Director of Academic Collaborations, where they played a key role in the launch and sales of a novel biomarker research platform. In 2006, they became a Major Accounts Manager at MDS Analytical Technologies. From 2007 to 2010, Gianfranco served as the President of Aliquot Technical Services, assuming leadership responsibilities. Gianfranco (John) then became the Global Director of BioFlux Sales & Support at Fluxion Biosciences from 2010 to 2015. Gianfranco joined Andor Technology as the Research Sales Manager for the Americas from 2015 to 2017, and then moved to Harvard Bioscience as the Sales Director for Electrophysiology in North America. Prior to their current role, they were the Global Sales Manager at Lumencor, Inc. from 2021 to 2022. Currently, Gianfranco holds the position of Sales Director for Global Distribution at Biolog, Inc.

Gianfranco (John) Battista attended Trinity College-Hartford from 1979 to 1983. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.
