Michael Ziman's work experience is as follows:

From 1997 to 1999, they worked at Acacia Biosciences as a Manager. Their responsibilities included being a member of the Genome Reporter Matrix team, creating and sequencing 6000 reporter genes. Michael also built a Saccharomyces genetic expression profile database using the Genome Reporter Matrix (GRM) and coauthored an SBRI research proposal.

From 1999 to 2001, they worked at Rosetta Inpharmatics as a Director.

From 2001 to 2003, they worked at Millennium Pharmaceuticals as a Scientist II.

Since September 2003, they have been working at Biolog, Inc., where they held the role of Director of PM Services until April 2016. Michael then transitioned into the role of Director of Technical, Applications, & Services.

Michael Ziman earned their Ph.D. in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Vermont between 1989 and 1994. From 1994 to 1997, they attended the University of California, Berkeley, where they pursued further studies in Cell Biology. In 2005 to 2006, Michael Ziman enrolled at the Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University, focusing on Accounting/Finance.
