Karl Haro Von Mogel

Karl Haro von Mogel is a geneticist with a Ph.D. in Plant Breeding and Plant Genetics from UW-Madison with a minor in Life Sciences Communication. He works as a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of California, Riverside conducting genome editing experiments with Citrus. Karl serves as BFI’s Director of Science and Media and as Executive Editor of the Biofortified Blog and has given many presentations about plant biotechnology and science communication.
