Ruby Peterson

Ruby Peterson is a skilled R&D Scientist currently leading greenhouse operations focused on corn and soy at BioLumic since September 2020, located on the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign campus. Prior experience includes serving as a Post-Propagation Grower/Supervisor at Agromillora CA, where Ruby managed rotating crews and orchestrated irrigation and pest control in production-scale greenhouses. Ruby's background also features a role as a Greenhouse Assistant at UCSB Biology Greenhouses, emphasizing research and teaching collection management, alongside an Undergraduate Research Internship at D'Antonio Lab, focusing on restoration methods in California's native ecosystems.
