Scott Schaeffer

Scott Schaeffer serves as the R&D Lead at BioLumic since November 2021, bringing extensive experience from previous roles including S2 Abiotic Screening Lead and Senior Scientist at Indigo from December 2016 to November 2021. Prior positions encompass Research Associate/Postdoctoral Researcher at Baylor College of Medicine, Director of Research and Development and Co-founder at Phytelligence Inc., and Graduate Research Assistant at Washington State University, where contributions included significant genomic and bioinformatic studies on Rosaceae fruits. Scott Schaeffer holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Plant Sciences and a B.S. in Microbiology, both from Washington State University.
