James Demmitt, MBA has held a variety of roles in the technology industry since 1992. James began their career as a Corporal in the 4th Reconnaissance Battalion, USMC (Reserve). In 1996, they became President of Smooth Designs, where they conceived, built and marketed an ASP model for hosting a suite of applications used by the biotechnology industry. In 1998, they were appointed Chief Information Officer at Pinpoint Solutions, where they designed and constructed a collocation facility to host customer applications and reduced internal IT costs by 50%. In 1999, they became Chief Technology Officer at Ninaza, where they established and directed the network, systems infrastructure and product vision for a growing technology product company. In 2001, they joined Biolytic Lab Performance, Inc. as a Board Member. In 2006, they became Manager of Software Development and Manager of Enterprise Services at Philips Healthcare, where they managed the daily tasks of software development, collaborated with cross-functional teams and drove schedules and projects to completion. In 2010, they were appointed Director of Operations at Big Biotech Company, Inc., where they were responsible for the operations of manufacturing, R&D, materials management and service and support. Finally, in 2014, they joined Biolytic Lab Performance, Inc. again, this time as Senior Vice President Operations and Senior Director of Operations.

James Demmitt obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Plymouth State University in 1997. James then went on to pursue an MBA from the D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University, which they completed in 2011 with a focus in Marketing, Healthcare, and High Technology. In 2020, they obtained a certification in Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging for All from LinkedIn.
