Sophie Brouard

Sophie Brouard's work experience includes co-founding BioMAdvanced Diagnostics, a biotech/medtech start-up focused on companion molecular diagnostic tests and biomarkers for patients undergoing kidney or lung transplants or with ulcerative colitis. Sophie also served as co-director of the INSERM UMR 1064 unit, focusing on identifying biomarkers for kidney or lung graft rejection. Sophie was a co-founder of Effimune, which merged to form OSE Immunotherapeutics. Sophie co-founded TC Land, a biotech start-up, and held positions as a 1st class director of research at the Centre national de la recherche scientifique and vice-president of the commission "Biologie-Santé" at the Région Pays de la Loire. Sophie was also the director of the national Centaure RTRS and a member of the board of the federative institute of research François Bonnamy.

Sophie Brouard's education history begins with a Doctorate in Veterinary Science obtained from Ecole nationale vétérinaire de Nantes. Sophie then pursued a Postgraduate degree in Biomechanics and Biomaterials at Université de Rennes I. Following this, they completed a PhD in Immunology at Nantes Université. Subsequently, they engaged in a Post-doctorate in Immunobiology and Signal Transduction at the laboratory of Pr. Bach, conducted at Harvard Medical School.
