Oscar Sanz Sevillano serves as a Digital Transformation Consultant at BioMar since July 2017, focusing on manufacturing IT, AI, and technology with efforts directed towards climate action and decarbonisation. Previously, Oscar held roles as a Process Engineer and Project Manager Junior at BioMar, and as Production Line Manager at GOTEC Group, where responsibilities included managing production and maintenance of electroplating lines and initiating a wastewater treatment plant. Earlier experience includes working at AMRI in process support for medicinal active ingredient production, conducting research at the Universidad de Valladolid on the effects of CO2 on bacterial growth, and optimizing distillation processes during an internship at UFPE. Oscar obtained a Master in Big Data & Data Science from VIU, degrees in chemical engineering from the Universidad de Valladolid, and in chemical engineering and food engineering from UFPE.
