Cem Erbil is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Executive Director and Regional Lead for Turkey and Russia at BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. since September 2014, having previously held roles such as Senior Director and Country Director within the organization. Cem's career encompasses positions at notable companies including GlaxoSmithKline, AstraZeneca, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Chiesi Group, and Sakhalin Energy, primarily in medical management and advisory capacities. Academically, Cem holds a Master in Biotechnology Management from IE Business School in Madrid and a Doctor of Medicine degree from Cerrahpasa.
