Marni Kottle

Marni Kottle joined BioMarin in 2023 and serves as the Chief Communications Officer, responsible for the company’s global internal and external communications, media relations and corporate social media strategy. Prior to BioMarin, Ms. Kottle served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications and Investor Relations at Kronos Bio, where she was responsible for the company’s outreach to investors and media. Previously, she was Vice President of Corporate Communications at Gilead Sciences, leading the company’s corporate brand, financial communications, media and social media strategies, and employee communications.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Kottle spent nearly a decade as a journalist, covering the biopharmaceutical industry and business news at Bloomberg, the San Francisco Chronicle and the Seattle Post-Intelligencer.

Ms. Kottle is a graduate of Stanford University, where she earned a B.A. in History and German Studies.
