Soumi Gupta

Soumi Gupta has over two decades of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, specializing in immunology and drug development. Currently serving at BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. as the Research and Early Development Chief of Staff and Head of Clinical Immunology, Soumi Gupta provides expertise in immunogenicity for biologic drug development, leading analyses in clinical trials and regulatory submissions. Prior experience includes positions at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson, where notable achievements involved establishing advisory boards and authoring key regulatory documents, as well as roles at Abbott Laboratories and Monogram Biosciences focusing on oncology and virology. Soumi Gupta holds a PhD in Microbiology from the University of California, Davis.
