Manny Abad, CPA, MBA, currently serves as a Senior Tax Manager at BioMatrix Specialty Pharmacy, where responsibilities include assisting senior management with tax matters during business asset sales and conducting tax research to minimize tax exposure. Previously held positions include Tax Manager at BioMatrix, where Manny constructed the tax department, and Senior Accountant at Marcum LLP, focusing on complex engagements with flow-through entities. Also experienced as a Staff Accountant, with expertise in various tax preparation forms, and as a Professional Football Player for the Tennessee Titans, fulfilling a lifelong dream. Manny began the professional journey as an Accountant intern at Berman Hopkins Wright & LaHam, CPAs and Associates, LLP, while pursuing an MBA and a BS in Accounting from the Florida Institute of Technology.
