Laurynas Karpus

Laurynas Karpus has been working in the field of biotechnology since 2014. Laurynas began their career as a Research Assistant at the National Cancer Institute, then moved to the Vilnius University Institute of Biotechnology as a Researcher in 2016. That same year they also became the Team Manager and Head of Research & Development for iGEM "Vilnius-Lithuania", where they developed an innovative method for high-throughput biomolecule characterization. In 2018, Laurynas became the CEO and Co-Founder of Biomatter Designs.

Laurynas Karpus completed a Bachelor's degree in Biophysics from Vilnius University, followed by a Master's degree in Life Sciences with a focus in Molecular Biology from the same university.
