In his role as CEO Khurram has driven the company’s vision to Innovate Globally and Cultivate Locally through the acquisition of 4 Canadian companies involved in the growing and processing of recreational cannabis. Domestic growth alongside efforts to grow internationally in the fast emerging medicinally focused CBD market is a top company priority.
The landmark production and supply agreement signed between BIOME’s Newfoundland LP applicant, Back Home and the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador stands as Canada’s third largest supply deal and as a key accomplishment. The first shipments from BIOME’s Nova Scotia based LP, Highland Grow in January 2019 served as a further milestone in the growth of BIOME.
Mr. Malik has worked in capital markets for over 15 years in both Canada and New York. The bulk of Mr. Malik’s work has focused in the area of equity research.
