Gurdeep Singh is currently working as a Bioinformatician at BioMed X Institute, where Gurdeep is part of Team VPE developing a computational platform for drug efficacy prediction. Prior to this, Gurdeep worked at Heidelberg University as a Postdoc and Doctoral Candidate, focusing on ML-guided frameworks for predicting GPCR/G-protein couplings. Gurdeep also developed an ML-based predictor of Protein-protein interaction for their Bachelor Thesis at Vrije Universiteit Brussel, presented at the BeNeLux Bioinformatics Conference. With a diverse background in research, coordination, and business internship roles, Gurdeep has a strong educational foundation with degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Biological Sciences, and a PhD in Bioinformatics.
