Desmond Adeniyi

Desmond Adeniyi has a diverse work experience in the fields of research, product development, and laboratory analysis. Desmond is currently working as a Research Scientist at BiomEdit, where they started in April 2022. Prior to this, Desmond held a role in Product Development at MBRD Service Company, LLC from January 2022. Desmond also worked as a Senior Scientist - Nutritional Health at Elanco from October 2019 to December 2021. Desmond has extensive experience in laboratory analysis, having worked as a Lab Analyst III at Pace Analytical from August 2017 to September 2019. Desmond also worked as a Study Technician at Covance from August 2015 to June 2017, where they were responsible for data collection, animal health monitoring, and maintenance of laboratory facilities. Desmond has experience in the academic sector as well, having served as a Teaching Assistant at Earlham College from January 2015 to May 2015, assisting with Anatomy and Physiology courses. Desmond also worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Michigan in 2014, collaborating on physiology research projects and performing various laboratory techniques. Desmond gained clinical experience as an Intern at NovaCare in 2013, where they observed and assisted physical therapists. Desmond also worked as a Research Intern at The University of Iowa in 2013, performing human subject research and data analysis. Prior to their scientific roles, Desmond worked as a Sales Associate at Finish Line from August 2011 to May 2015, where they demonstrated products, assisted customers, and maintained store organization.

Desmond Adeniyi obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biology, General from Earlham College, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. Desmond then pursued their Master of Arts (MA) in Biology, General at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis, completing the program from 2016 to 2017. During their studies, in 2013, they also participated in a program called The Philadelphia Center, focusing on Physical Therapy/Therapist, although no degree was obtained from this experience.

In addition to their formal education, Desmond Adeniyi obtained a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ICGB) certification from Purdue University in October 2020.
