Michael Hawks, CPA

Michael Hawks, CPA has over 37 years of experience in the accounting and finance field. Michael began their career in 1980 as the Chief Accounting Officer and Controller for Leisure Dynamics, Inc. (Coleco), where they managed the company through bankruptcy. From 1983 to 1999, they held various roles at BMC Industries, Inc., including Vice President of Finance and Administration, CFO, Treasurer and Secretary. During their tenure, they assisted the CEO and CFO in reviving a defunct investor relations program, resulting in an increase in the company's PE ratio from 9 to 27. From 1999 to 2001, they were the CFO for Commission Junction (now a ValueClick company), where they provided executive leadership as the company grew from revenues of $2,700 per month to over $1 million per month. Michael then co-founded, became Chairman, President and Treasurer of HEARTS IN MEXICO from 2001 to 2012. From 2012 to 2013, they held the role of CFO and Coalition Loyalty Program at Curenci, and Financial Consultant and Cash Flow Forecasting at BioMedix Vascular Solutions. From 2013 to 2019, they were the Chief Financial Officer at Collaborative Care Diagnostics DBA BioMedix. Michael is currently the Owner of Hawks Consulting LLC.

Michael Hawks, CPA has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Minnesota State University, Mankato, which they obtained in 1974. Michael also holds a Master of Business Administration from the New York Institute of Technology.
