Kim Bloom

Kim Bloom has worked in the field of Regulatory Affairs for over 20 years. Kim began their career in 2000 as a Senior Safety Associate at Elan Pharmaceuticals. In 2006, they took on the role of Senior Software Quality Engineer/RA Specialist at Certified Compliance Solutions, Inc. where they consulted manufacturers in the medical device industry on issues of regulatory and quality systems. In 2007, they became Manager of Regulatory Affairs at Aperio Technologies, Inc. and then in 2008, they took on the role of Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist at Covidien. From 2009 to 2013, they were a Regulatory Affairs Specialist at Zimmer Dental and then a Senior Specialist, Regulatory Affairs at Accriva Diagnostics from 2017 to 2020. Currently, Kim is a Regulatory Affairs Manager at Biomerica, Inc. and is set to become a Sr. Regulatory Affairs Specialist at Agilent Technologies in 2022.

Kim Bloom has a diverse educational background, having attended San Diego State University (SDSU) for both a BS in Health Science and a Bachelor of Applied Science - BASc in Health Services/Allied Health/Health Sciences, General. Kim also attended Mount Miguel High School, where they completed General/College Prep. Additionally, Kim Bloom participated in a RAC study group. Furthermore, Kim Bloom is a RAPS Member of the Regulatory Affairs Certification Program, having obtained this certification in June 2012.
