Caitlin Waltz

Caitlin Waltz is a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at Medtronic since March 2024 and has been serving as a Mechanical R&D Engineer II at Biomerics since October 2022. Previously, Caitlin held positions as a Senior Product Development Engineer and New Product Development Engineer at Northeast Scientific from November 2020 to September 2022, and worked as a Biomedical Engineer at IsoPlexis from March 2020 to November 2020. Experience also includes a role as a Process Development Engineer at Cirtec Medical where process development and validation for Class II and Class III medical devices were completed. Caitlin's background includes teaching roles at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Reliability Engineering Co-op at Edgewell Personal Care, contributing to mechanical testing on well-known consumer brands. Caitlin holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, earned in 2017, following a high school education at Warwick High School.
