Amir Ovcina

Amir Ovcina is a highly experienced engineering professional with a strong background in automation and controls. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Automation Engineering at bioMérieux since May 2020, Ovcina previously held the role of Senior Automation Engineer at the same company. Prior to bioMérieux, Ovcina worked at ABCO Automation, Inc. as a Controls Engineer from July 2017 to May 2020 and served as an Automation Engineer at Technimark LLC from July 2016 to June 2017. Ovcina's earlier experience includes positions as Principal Equipment Reliability Engineer at Baxter International Inc., Sr. Controls Engineer at Mando, and Sr. Controls Engineer at Benteler Automotive. Ovcina holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Lamar University and also studied at ETF Sarajevo.
