Andrew Parker

Andrew Parker is a seasoned legal and business development leader with extensive experience in the diagnostics and biotechnology sectors. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Head of Global Business Development at bioMérieux since 2004, Andrew has successfully led international teams and coordinated multiple strategic transactions, including a significant $425 million acquisition. Previous roles at bioMérieux include Vice President of Business Development, General Counsel for the Americas, and Human Resources responsibilities, showcasing a strong blend of legal and business acumen. Prior to bioMérieux, Andrew worked at Mayer Brown as an Associate in the Corporate Department and gained analytical experience at the U.S. Department of Justice. Andrew holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School, a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy Studies and History from Duke University, and an Executive Scholar designation from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
