Christian Merrill

Christian Merrill is a Senior Manager of Software Development at bioMérieux, leading teams in the development, release, and maintenance of internal instrument support software since January 2022. Previously, Christian held various roles at BioFire Diagnostics, including Software Development Manager and Software Project Manager, where responsibilities involved directing software life cycles and ensuring compliance with FDA and ISO requirements. Early career experience includes positions as Help Desk Lead and Specialist at the University of Utah’s IT department, as well as a Design Specialist at OfficeMax and Computer Support Technician at Mountain Land Rehabilitation. Christian holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in English and Film with a focus on Video Game Development from the University of Utah.
