James S. Robertson has extensive work experience in the field of intellectual property. James S. is currently employed at bioMérieux as the Senior Vice President of Global Intellectual Property, a role they have held since May 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Global Intellectual Property at the same company from January 2021 to May 2021. From 2012 onwards, James worked at the European Patent Office, where they served as a Member of EQE Examination Committee II. James S.'sresponsibilities included marking examination scripts for prospective European Patent Attorneys and contributing to the drafting of examination papers. James also held the position of Executive Director and Head of Global Patents at LEO Pharma from September 2015 to December 2020. James S. Robertson has a diverse education history. James S. holds a degree in Negotiation & Leadership from Harvard Law School. James S. also obtained a Diploma in Patent Litigation in Europe from the University of Strasbourg and a CertIP in Intellectual Property Law from Queen Mary University of London. In addition, James has a PhD in Molecular and Immunobiology and a BSc (Hons) in Medical Microbiology, both from The University of Edinburgh. In terms of certifications, they are a Chartered (UK) Patent Attorney, obtained from The Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys in 2010, and they are also a European Patent Attorney, certified by the European Patent Office in the same year.
