James Vangordon

James VanGordon is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the field of electrical engineering and microbiology innovation. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Microbiology Innovation at bioMérieux since April 2014, James has also held positions as Associate Director of R&D Electrical Engineering and Physical Electronics Engineer within the same company. Prior to this, James worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Missouri from May 2008 to March 2014. Academic credentials include a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia, as well as an MS and a BS in Electrical Engineering, complemented by a minor in Mathematics. James is furthering education with an MBA and a Graduate Certificate in Engineering and Technology Management at Oklahoma State University.
