Chahram Becharat leads IPC, a diversified industrial Group with activities including minerals, water, agriculture, packaging, industrial real estate, publishing and services. He is also Chairman of Vectaury (retail analytics). Before managing DFS group, he was Head of Europatweb, a $700m investment fund dedicated to digital technology managed by LVMH that created LibertySurf, Webhelp or SeLoger and also supervised Groupe Arnault’s 16% investment in Netflix. Chahram Becharat is also Executive Chairman of Craft AI, a company specializing in the development of artificial intelligence tools. He is Director of the French company 700,000 hours, the first traveling hotel on the planet. Previously a corporate banker at Morgan Stanley Bank in London, Chahram Becharat also served for 7 years with Bernard Arnault, within the LVMH Group. In this context, he oversaw more than 5 billion Euros of acquisitions that led to the creation of the Group’s selective distribution branch (Duty Free Shoppers, Le Bon Marché, La Grande Épicerie, La Samaritaine, Sephora).
