Fabian Schmidt-Pramov is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sustainable forestry and environmental management. Previously, Fabian co-founded Amsel & Ara and worked at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH for over a decade in various advisory and leadership roles, focusing on international forest-related climate finance and sustainable forest management. Notable projects include collaboration with the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) on REDD+ and forest financing strategies. Early career experience includes positions with IDH, Forest Finance Panama, and BaumInvest GmbH & Co KG, where Fabian managed forestry investment projects. Fabian holds a Master of Science in Tropical Forestry and Management and a Bachelor of Science in Forestry from Technische Universität Dresden.
