BIOMILQ
Katherine Richeson is a Scientist and Lead Molecular Biologist at BIOMILQ since August 2021, focusing on generating proprietary cell line inputs for producing cell-cultured human milk to enhance infant nutrition through mammary biotechnology. Prior to this role, Katherine served as a PhD Candidate in the Randall King Lab at Harvard University from 2013 to 2020, where research centered on cell division and cancer treatment involving Anaphase Promoting Complex/Cyclosome small molecule inhibitors. Additional roles at Harvard included Laboratory Manager and Teaching Assistant, with responsibilities ranging from training new lab members to developing educational assignments. Katherine also held positions as an Adjunct Instructor at Emmanuel College, a Research Fellow at The University of Queensland, and an Undergraduate Researcher at Davidson College, where the thesis focused on computational biology. Katherine earned a Ph.D. in Biological and Biomedical Sciences from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Science in Computational Biology from Davidson College.
