Julian Beare has been on the Board of BioMin Technologies Ltd since inception and became Chairman in 2019. He is a partner in Ironbridge Capital Partners, a corporate finance boutique, advising and investing in smaller companies; and a member of the Court and past-Master of the Armourers and Brasiers’ Company, a Livery company, focused on the support of materials science in the UK, representing its venture fund, which was one of the main initial investors in BioMin. Graduated in history at Fitzwilliam College, University of Cambridge, then commissioned as a lieutenant in the Royal Marines.

BioMin Technologies Ltd was established in 2014 to commercialize research conducted over the past decade at Queen Mary University London and Imperial College, London, to develop bioactive glass materials for treating dentine hypersensitivity.
