Biomix is a Finnish materials company founded in Tampere in 2020. We are introducing a new class of materials: 100% bio-based and 100% biodegradable solutions that perform like conventional plastic while running on existing moulding systems.

Our flagship innovation, BiomixAIKA®, is not a modified bioplastic. It represents a new material category. Developed from natural compounds through a low-energy process, it enables manufacturers to transition from fossil-based plastics without operational disruption, while significantly lowering their carbon footprint.
