Thomas Grimley

Thomas Grimley has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering. Thomas currently works as a Senior Product Design Engineer at BioNex Solutions, a role they started in 2019. Prior to this, Thomas worked at BioNex Solutions from 2011 to 2018, where they held various roles including Hardware Engineering Manager and Mechanical Engineer. Thomas was responsible for developing the BeeSure level sensing instrument for microplates during their time as a Mechanical Engineer.

Before joining BioNex Solutions, Thomas worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Joby Energy from 2009 to 2011. Thomas gained research experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at MIT from 2008 to 2009. Prior to that, they worked as a Mechanical Design Intern at Schlumberger in 2007. Their early career included a role as a Sr Student Associate at Applied Research Laboratories, The University of Texas at Austin from 2004 to 2006.

Thomas Grimley attended The University of Texas at Austin from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Following their undergraduate studies, they attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2007 to 2009, where they earned a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
