Vice President Of Pharmacovigilance at Bionical Emas

Rachel Spokes has been retired since March 2022. Prior to retiring, they had a significant amount of work experience in the field of pharmacovigilance. Rachel worked at Bionical Emas from 2015 to 2022, where they held various roles including Vice President of Pharmacovigilance and Director of Project Management, Pharmacovigilance. In these roles, they were responsible for managing the Pharmacovigilance department, overseeing budgets, and providing advice on pharmacovigilance strategy. Before joining Bionical Emas, Rachel worked at Allergan from 2007 to 2014, where they served as Deputy EU QPPV / Senior Safety Scientist and Senior Safety Scientist & EU Safety Manager. Rachel'sresponsibilities at Allergan included ensuring compliance with PV legislation and leading the implementation of the DSUR project. Overall, Rachel has extensive experience in pharmacovigilance and has held leadership positions in the field.

Rachel Spokes completed their education with a BSc and PhD in Pharmacology from UCL, attending from 1977 to 1984. Rachel then pursued a Post-Graduate Diploma in Pharmacovigilance at the University of Hertfordshire from 1998 to 2000.
